Dental Bridges

Bridges filling the missing tooth area by placing a crown on the tooth in front and the tooth in back that are connected to a false tooth in the middle.

Dental bridges are pretty much what they say on the tin; they literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. Many people like to think of them as a row of crowns joined together and used to close a space left by the loss of a tooth. The bridge is anchored in place against the existing teeth on either side and it looks, feels and functions like natural teeth and you cannot remove from mouth for cleaning.

A fixed bridge can be attached to a dental implant.

Depending on the size of the gap , this can be a great alternative to a removable partial denture.

We will make an assessment of the suitability of the teeth that will anchor the bridge. This requires dental x-rays and a mock-up which will give you an idea how the finished bridge will look like.

We provide a variety of crowns and bridges, such as:

  • All ceramic crowns (Emax, Zirconia)

  • Porcelain fused to metal (Ceramco)
